We offer generous portions of home cooked meals and hand made cakes, many of which have now become firm favourites of our regular customers. Homity pie is now never off the menu and our slices of chocolate cake are described as large as house bricks which have to be washed down with at least two pints of tea. Our infamous "Inglesport Step" flapjack is the flapjack to beat all flapjacks. Our all day breakfasts are filling and come in varying sizes to suit all stomachs (usually the expanding). Our Veggie breakfast is quoted as being the best North of Brighton! We can also cater for any special diets and more individual requests as all our food is cooked to order.
Our large chip butty is quite a challenge and has had some tough squaddies shuddering. There are always fresh salads and sandwiches, or homemade soups if you prefer.
Where possible all our produce is bought locally. We use the village greengrocers Greengages for all our fresh fruit and veg, our milk and eggs come from the local area and our meat is bought from family butchers Flemings in Bentham.
Most of our baking is done on the premises and we can usually be seen busy baking whenever possible. We use raw material not packets or mixes.
